6. Subcontractor Staff Code of Conduct

While we operate a relaxed and friendly environment, there are several core expectations we expect from all subcontractors:

  • Safety: You should operate within your own level of competence and training. While some risk in outdoor events is inevitable, do not place yourself or others in unnecessary risk. You are expected to prioritise safety above everything else.

  • Respect: we expect all staff to treat other staff members, clients and participants with respect. While opinions may differ on safety and management, the designated ‘Lead’ has final authority on a decision. Any discussions on safety should take place with other staff privately before communicating those back to the participants.

  • You are expected to fulfil your obligations while onsite at the event.

Failure to follow the code of conduct may result in your contract being terminated with immediate effect with no fees due. This may be verbal and followed up in writing within 72 hours. You have the right to appeal this decision which must be made in writing within 72 hours.
